Victoria Melody workshop on autobiographical story telling on 4th May in Brighton

On 4th May as part of of a series of activities Brighton People’s Theatre is holding over 2019 to explore whether there is an appetite for a People’s Theatre for the city. People can come to as much or as little as they like.

This workshop is about bringing our own life stories to the stage. What are the creative triggers we can use? How can we mix our own experiences up with what’s going on in the wider world? What staging tricks will help us take audiences on the ride of their lives?

This workshop will be led by special guest Victoria Melody – a woman willing to try her hand at almost anything to make a good story. In the past she has become a pigeon racer, northern soul dancer, championship dog handler, beauty queen, funeral director and stand up comedian.
