Lockdown Looking Glass by Rachel Cowell and Sinead Emery

Visual art/film

Fri 29th Jan | Sat 30th Jan - All day (and as part of the Festival Finale at 7.30pm on Sat 30th Jan)

Digital screens around town and online

In partnership with Crawley Museum and LPK Learning.

We were planning an exhibition of objects that Crawley people loaned us representing 2020. Then Lockdown 3 happened. Instead, to launch the third part of LPK Learning’s Capturing Lockdown project which focuses on artefacts we invited local residents to share a short film of an object that most represents 2020 for them.

The submitted films are part of a longer film made by the local artist Rachel Cowell and festival lead artist Sinead Emery. The film celebrates the objects and was shown on a digital screen in the town centre (for passersby) and online as part of the Right Here Festival Finale m on Saturday 30th January.

You can watch the film here from Sunday 31st January.
